Description
Travel to a remote mountain village — Medoveevka and then through the Akhtsu gorge along the Old Polyanskaya road. We will see the waterfall Maiden Tears, Krasnaya Polyana and the road abandoned since Soviet times and, finally, the Akhtsu gorge. In Medoveevka we will swim in the font of a mountain river, have a delicious lunch at the OldBoys restaurant, and visit the Endemic brewery.
We will drive through the Mountain Olympic Village, down the picturesque Alpine Highway, along the Rosa Khutor embankment and through three ski resorts. And then along the historic Old Estonian road to Krasnaya Polyana, after that we will drive 2 km along the road and turn onto the Old Polyanskaya road. After that we will drive 2 km along the road again, turn into the Chvizhepse valley, where we will swim in the font of a mountain river.
Then we will overcome a smooth ascent to the village of Medoveevka. Here we will have lunch at the OldBoys restaurant, drink beer at the Endemic brewery, buy souvenirs at the Krasnopolyanskaya cosmetics soap factory, and honey at local apiaries.
And then we will return to the Staraya Polyanskaya road, drive through the impressive Akhtsu gorge, where sheer cliffs reach a height of 200 meters, and the Mzymta River rages below.
